A guide to the collection

Which car for which day

Every car in the collection is a specific car, photographed as it is and listed with its current daily rate. Deposits appear on each car in the collection, and everything is confirmed when you book.

Lamborghini rental in Chicago

For many people, a supercar means a Lamborghini. The collection lists the Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder ($1,500/day), Lamborghini Urus (Green) ($1,200/day), Lamborghini Urus Stage 2 (Yellow) ($1,200/day), Lamborghini Urus (Red) ($1,200/day), Lamborghini Urus (Black) ($1,200/day). The Urus is the Lamborghini for an evening with friends; the Huracán EVO Spyder, with its roof folded away, is for the days when the drive is the whole point. See the Lamborghinis.

Rolls-Royce rental in Chicago

A Rolls-Royce changes the temperature of a room before anyone steps out. It is the choice for weddings, milestone dinners and arrivals that should feel calm rather than loud. The collection lists the Cullinan ($1,600/day), Ghost ($1,450/day), Wraith ($1,200/day). The Cullinan sits tall and suits a gown; the Ghost is the formal saloon; the Wraith, with its coach doors, is a car for two. For a whole wedding party there are packages from $2,500/day. See the Rolls-Royces.

G-Wagon and luxury SUV rental

The Mercedes-AMG G63 is listed at $900/day in white, satin black and graphite gray. It is unmistakable at a valet stand and at ease in a Chicago winter. Alongside it: the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, the Range Rover Autobiography LWB and SVR, the Audi RS Q8, the BMW X6M Competition and two Cadillac Escalades, from $250/day. See the SUVs.

Sports cars, convertibles and saloons

The Porsche 911, the Corvette Z06 and C8, the Mercedes-AMG GT and SL55 and the BMW M8 Competition Convertible are listed from $550 to $1,000/day. The Mercedes-Benz S580 and the BMW M5 are discreet company for airport runs and client dinners. Across the collection, days begin at $200.

The photograph

The picture everyone keeps

Ask anyone who has spent a day with one of these cars what they remember, and they will usually show you a photograph. A white Rolls-Royce outside the church. A Lamborghini under the lights of Lower Wacker. A G63 in front of the Chicago Theatre marquee, the whole street glowing red and gold behind it. The day ends; the picture stays on the mantelpiece and in the family chat for years.

So we plan for it. Every car arrives clean, and if you share where and when you would like to take pictures, the handover is timed for the light. The hour before sunset along the lake. The blue minutes after it on the river. The city at night from the Museum Campus. Our guide to the best photo spots in Chicago has more ideas, from the Riverwalk to North Avenue Beach.

Shooting something larger? Creators and brands can ask about collaborations. Please follow local rules wherever you shoot, and label sponsored posts as the FTC asks.

Why Chicago guests book here

A person, not a checkout page. Rates and deposits shown before you ask. A collection kept privately and photographed honestly. And a handover arranged around your day, at home, at a hotel downtown or near O’Hare and Midway, rather than around a rental counter’s hours.

What a booking feels like

Most guests write a week or two ahead, though weekdays can come together sooner. You share the car, the date and where the day begins. A reply follows with availability, the daily rate, the refundable deposit, the mileage allowance and a time. On the day the car is waiting, polished, and someone walks you through it. When the day is over, the car is collected at the agreed time and place. If you would rather not drive at all, a chauffeur can be arranged, and nothing is ever charged through the form on this site.

Where to drive

The roads worth the car

A beautiful car deserves a beautiful road. These are the classics in and around Chicago:

  • Lake Shore Drive, end to end. The classic. Hollywood Avenue to the Museum Campus with Lake Michigan on one side and the skyline on the other. Best at sunrise or after 8 pm when traffic thins.
  • Wacker Drive & the river bridges. Lower and Upper Wacker trace the Chicago River past Marina City, the Wrigley Building and the Merchandise Mart. Lights on the water make night drives unforgettable.
  • The Magnificent Mile. A slow cruise down Michigan Avenue from Oak Street Beach past the Water Tower and the Tribune Tower to the river. Best taken slowly.
  • Museum Campus & Adler overlook. Park with the full skyline across the harbor. The single best photo backdrop in the city.
  • Gold Coast & Astor Street. Historic mansions and tree-lined streets, then dinner on Rush and Oak.

For a full day out, to Lake Geneva or Starved Rock, read scenic drives near Chicago and keep the daily mileage allowance in mind.

The seasons

Chicago, month by month

Spring arrives slowly and then all at once. Magnolias on the Gold Coast, the first warm evening on the lake, the wedding calendar filling Saturday by Saturday. White cars look their best against new green, and a Cullinan or Ghost outside a church in May is hard to improve on.

Summer is for open roofs. The Huracán EVO Spyder, the SL55 and the M8 Convertible come into their own on Lake Shore Drive after eight, when the air cools and the skyline lights up. Weekends are reserved early, so it is wise to write well ahead.

Autumn may be the most beautiful season of all. The forest preserves west and south of the city turn copper and scarlet, the light lowers and softens, and the roads empty out. It is the season for a long afternoon in a Porsche 911 or a Rolls-Royce Wraith, with nowhere in particular to be.

Winter brings snow on the Magnificent Mile and the warm glow of hotel lobbies. The G63, the Urus and the Cullinan take the weather calmly, and a chauffeured evening to a holiday dinner is one of the city’s quiet luxuries.

On being driven

There is a particular pleasure in sitting in the back of a Rolls-Royce while someone else watches the road. A chauffeur can be arranged for weddings, anniversaries, late dinners and guests arriving from far away. They know the city, keep to your timeline, hold the door and then step out of the way, so the evening feels effortless and entirely your own.

Every rental has a refundable security deposit, listed with each car in the collection. Current listed deposits range from $1,000 (for example the Mercedes-Benz S580) to $2,000 for the Lamborghinis and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Ghost. Packages carry their own deposit. What is the minimum age to rent?

Drivers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Do I need my own insurance?

How many miles are included?
